Almost Home

From my Painting Series, "Going Home".
This is part 2,  "Almost Home".
On this part of the journey which for me was a 10 and some years 20 hour drive home, things started to get a little blurry, my eyes wanting to close but still anticipating the end. Some of the fragments of unfinished business are hanging around but fading into the background. I am excited but tired by this time. I think that explains the drippy feel of this work.
 
Joyful color is still there but somewhat subdued with turquoise, pink, a rich dark yellow, magenta and sassy green.
Hang this where you want color with calm.
